New and Improved Book Search!
We listened to your comments. We've completely overhauled our book search engine to help
make it easier for you to find books. Here's some of the major improvements we've
made to our book search:
- More Titles! - We've contracted with Muze, the industry leader, to provide us with
book information. We now have over 5 million titles in our book database!
- Faster Searches! - Our searches are much faster now.
- More Precise Results - We heard your complaints about wading through
dozens and sometimes hundreds of titles in our search results. No more! We now
group search results by book title, with the most popular format featured and
all other formats listed below.
- Sortable Search Results - You asked for it. Now you've got it! Search results are now
sortable by bestseller, book title (in ascending or descending order), and date of publication.
- Smarter Search Engine - Our new search engine automatically corrects misspellings and
suggests words if it can't figure out what you entered.
- Enhanced Book Information - We now show more information about individual book titles including:
- Links to other available formats
- Links to earlier editions of the same format
- Bestseller information
- Book series information
- Language information
- Number of pages
- Book dimensions
- Book weight
- Publisher information
- Extensive Author Information - We now have over one million authors in our author database.
Enhanced information about authors now includes:
- Birth and Death Information
- Genre Information
- Contributor Role
- If available, we show you the contributor's role for a book (e.g. "Author", "Editor", "Illustrator".)
- Alternate Formats Shown in Search Results - You can see all available formats for
a given title within our search results.
- Language Filter - You can filter search results by specific languages.
In addition, we've launched three entirely new features...

Guided Search! 
|
You can now narrow your search results by clicking on refinements such as Subject Category,
Format, Language, or List Price. Guided searching will help you find books
faster and help you find books you didn't even know existed!
For example, say you're looking for a Dr. Seuss game book. You don't know the title, but you
definitely know it's a game. Type in seuss and search
on keyword (click here to do the search.)
You'll get over 200 books found. On the left you'll see a section asking you to Narrow your results by....
Under Subject Category look under Games. You see there are two books listed. Click on the
Games refinement and presto! the book you were looking for is found.

Browse Books!
|
You can now browse books by Author Name, Subject Category, or Special Category such as
Amazon Bestsellers and Greatest Books.
In addition, we now track our own BestBookBuys bestseller information. Updated daily,
we publish the following bestseller lists:

Wish Lists!
As many of you have requested, you can now save books to a Wish List
for later purchase. Even better, our list is like a Wish List on steroids.
Among the nifty features, you can:
- You can add up to 1,000 books to each list.
- Maintain up to 20 lists. Keep a list of children's books for the kids,
a list of gift books for friends and family, and a list for yourself.
- Name your lists any way you want and add comments to your list items.
- Make your lists public and let your friends see them. Or
leave the lists private so only you can see them.
